The 2nd week of October is complete. Field trips have been planned, the last volleyball game at home has occurred, school pictures were taken, and we are beginning the self-manager program at school. Boy, the students have had a busy week!
I can’t wait for you to see the paintings that the students have been doing this week! They are amazing! The students have been earning their classroom bucks for good behaviors, good deeds, and jobs well done in the classroom. This week, we had a surprise drawing, where the behavior bucks were put into a jar and one was drawn for a free Scholastic book worth up to $5! It was so amazing, and the students are really enjoying these drawings. The drawings will be done on a surprise day approximately every two weeks. Remember that if you want to volunteer in the class or on a field trip, that you need a background check. The paperwork is available in the office.
