November is here!
Grading day has also arrived. I have been passing out missing work to the students for the last two weeks in hopes that they will turn it in. As these papers were in-class work and not homework, the students have had a few reminders on checking their lockers, desks, and backpacks to see if they misplaced the papers somewhere. I had work times this week when the students had a chance to redo their work, and turn it in to me for a slightly lesser credit. I am very pleased that a lot of the work was turned in.
Our spelling words were passed out last week, and there is a new sheet heading home today to reinforce those spelling words. The test for these words is next Thursday, so if you could practice the words with your student, that would be great.
Remember that if you want to volunteer in the class or on a field trip, that you need a background check. The paperwork is available in the office.
