The second month of 2017 is here, and it snowed...briefly, thank goodness!
Grades for the second quarter of school have been entered, and report cards should be sent out next week. So, if you are surprised that your student has not brought home a report card yet, don’t worry. It hasn’t been sent out yet. J I am so proud of the students that showed up for the hand bell concert this week. They did such a great job! I was so pleased that I was able to be there and watch them. This week the students have been working on identifying what cells do in muscles, and how they get the nutrients that they need to operate. The students have been working together to create a diagram that shows this process. It is really interesting listening to their conversations! Important Dates and Upcoming Events:
We met our perfect attendance goal! Congratulations everyone for your hard work! The students had a great time during their nacho party. They got to watch “Ye Shen”, a Chinese Cinderella story. It was a different spin on the typically repeated Cinderella story, so the students were rather intrigued that it included a talking fish! (The spelling test is on February 16, 2017. All of the words are on the test in a random order. The students only need to define one word on the test.) Spelling List:
