From Ms. Roberts:
This is my last newsletter for this year! This week we had our trip to SPLASH on Tuesday. Our report from the staff at the facility said that our kids were the best behaved that they have seen. Bravo!!! On Wednesday, we had a field day for fifth and sixth graders. Everyone that attended had a wet and wild good time! We have some fun days coming up, so be sure that your student knows what they are so that they can dress appropriately. See the list below. Remember the permission slips to watch the movie “Where the Red Fern Grows” on the last day. I have provided a copy on the back. If your student forgets to take the slip, a signed note from you or call to the office would be fine. Final report cards will be mailed home – please be sure we have your most current address on file. You will also need to make sure all library books are returned and fees are paid for a fresh start in the Fall. I am going to miss each and every one of my students so much! From Ms. Roberts:
We have entered our last month of classes!!! This week has been hard on the kids as we finish up the last of their testing for the year, but they made it through. Even so, we still have a lot of projects, work, and studying to do. Please do your best to make sure they attend as you always do. Make certain that you continue with the math facts and reading. This should also continue throughout the summer as the students need their fluency in these facts to be strong for next year. We have some fun days coming up, so be sure that your student knows what they are so that they can dress appropriately. See the list below. Final report cards will be mailed home – please be sure we have your most current address on file.
